Sport Chrono Package

What is the Sport Chrono package?

The Sport Chrono package is Porsche's performance specification. It brings sharper engine and chassis maps, a Sport Plus mode, launch control on PDK models, an integrated lap timer and the analogue stopwatch on the dashboard. On many models it is the prerequisite for the car's full performance.

Sport and Sport Plus modes

A rotary control on the steering wheel selects Normal, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual. In Sport Plus the engine, gearbox, chassis and PSM all work for maximum performance: sharper throttle response, firmer damping, later shift points. Sport Chrono is what lets you call up the full potential of a Carrera S or Turbo on the circuit.

Launch control and lap timing

Launch control delivers repeatable standing starts: brake with the left foot, throttle with the right, the engine holds the optimum launch speed, and releasing the brake fires the car off the line. The integrated lap timer records lap times in the cockpit, locally and without extra hardware. Combined with the Porsche Track Precision app you can analyse data and driving lines.
