The Katschberg or Katschberghöhe at 1,641 meters above sea level is a road (B 99). This connects the Katschtal in Carinthia with the Lungau in the province of Salzburg. Katschberghöhe is also the settlement name of the Rotte at the summit of the pass, which largely belongs to the Carinthian community of Rennweg am Katschberg.
There is no mountain called Katschberg, but the pass between Aineck and Tschaneck is called that. The holiday region or ski area Skischaukel Katschberg-Aineck stretches around the top of the pass.
The earliest known earthquake in Austria was recorded on May 4, 1201 in Katschberg, then the Duchy of Carinthia. It is estimated to have a strength of 6.1 on the Richter scale.
St. Michael im Lungau is located approx. 250 km south of Munich. Attention sensitive new catalog of fines, which, if disregarded, can easily charge the holiday budget with 1,500, - €. There are more than five speed cameras in total after the border crossing.
How to get there:
On the road via A10 towards Villach/exit St. Michael im Lungau.
By plane via Hamburg/Berlin/Cologne/Frankfurt the evening before to Salzburg — approx. 70 min. Shuttle transfer Salzburg -> St. Michael.
Hotel accommodation is not included in the package price, as our guests' agenda is varied. While locals are already on the road early in the morning, international guests arrive by plane and like to stop off in Salzburg for sightseeing. Some also combine their stay with a relaxing skiing holiday in the region. However, we are happy to recommend the following hotels for self-booking:

A well-prepared ice rink about 3,500 meters long awaits you on the training ground — perfect for beginners and advanced skiers. There is no obligation to wear a helmet. Max. 5 cars/ 10 guests per group/ max. 25 cars per course.
1 day — a total of 5 sections, approx. 6 hours track time
2 days — a total of 8 sections, approx. 10 hours track time
There is a log house in addition to catering and toilets on the complex. The ice rink is located in the Thomatal about 30 km from St. Michael at an altitude of 1,100 m.

Porsche 911 various model series/Porsche 992/Porsche 992 GT3. Our training fleet is equipped with 3 mm spikes on the front axle, which guarantees perfect steering angles and optimised braking. We rely on special winter tires for the rear axle. 4 mm thick aluminum front and side protectors protect against possible damage to the vehicle. The emergency vehicles are serviced and inspected daily by our technicians.

It's a good idea. The perfect break. Some enjoy wellness and winter sports — others drift with us. that Hôtel Eggerwirt**** can fulfill all wishes with 5,000 square meters of wellness. The Katschberg or Obertauern are easy to reach as a ski resort. Joint hut evenings provide entertainment and special moments. A spontaneous visit from your loved ones — after late breakfast — gladly. We are easy to reach by taxi.
We are limiting our starting places. This means that all costs, such as training grounds, personnel, logistics and office services, are spread over a maximum of 25 cars.
If pilots cancel their participation now, the distribution is no longer correct and we would have to cancel the event.
We do not want that and therefore our cancellation conditions apply:
up to 30 days before departure 40% of the travel price, but at least 200€
up to 8 days before departure 70% of the travel price
from the 7th day before departure 90% of the travel price
If you book as a business customer, then your cancellation conditions are as follows:
up to 60 days before departure 80% of the travel price

Loose clothing and sporty footwear, and a thick breathable jacket. We recommend functional underwear, a hat, scarf and gloves for the entire stay. Also very important: sunglasses and replacement glasses for eyeglass and contact lens wearers. In order to digitally capture the already unforgettable moments, feel free to pack your photo and/or film equipment with the necessary accessories.
Don't forget important medications as well as your ID card, money & credit card!
You are taking part in a smart, classic or weekend program, where we provide you with our fleet of vehicles. If you have an accident during coaching in the ice center or during all other training trips, your excess amounts to 15,000€. If you clicked on self-service reduction when booking, your excess is 3,000€.
