What is Manthey Racing?

Manthey Racing is one of the most successful customer teams in Porsche motorsport. Founded in 1996 by Olaf Manthey, the team is based in Meuspath right next to the Nürburgring and has taken countless wins in the VLN series and the 24-hour race. Since 2013 it has worked in close partnership with Porsche Motorsport. Manthey is more than a race team, though: its tuning division develops the sought-after Manthey Performance Kit, which lifts a series-production GT3 towards works level.

The Manthey Performance Kit

The Manthey Kit for Porsche GT models (GT3, GT3 RS, GT4) is the official Porsche collaboration for circuit optimisation. It covers aerodynamic components (dive planes, diffuser, Gurney flap), chassis upgrades (uniball bearings, anti-roll bars), brake improvements and weight reduction. The kit is fully Porsche-compatible and keeps the warranty intact – the holy grail for GT owners who want more performance.

Manthey in endurance racing

Manthey Racing is the benchmark for endurance racing at the Nürburgring. The team has won the Nürburgring 24 Hours several times, with both works and customer cars. That racing experience feeds directly into the development of the road-car kits: what works on the Nordschleife at the weekend is on sale to customers on Monday.
