What is Boxberg?

Boxberg is the Bosch Group's testing and development centre — an industrial proving ground with a long high-speed oval, several connecting circuits and specialist surfaces for every kind of chassis and safety test. Private customers can only use the site through organised track day events.

Layout and courses

The high-speed oval is a banked circuit on which cars can run continuously at well over 200 km/h. Alongside it are twisty handling courses, braking straights and rough-road sections. The handling layouts are the interesting ones for track day drivers, because they combine high-speed sections with technical passages.

Character and use

Boxberg is unlike a conventional race circuit: there is no stadium and no pit lane drama, just the character of an industrial test facility. In exchange you get exceptional safety — huge run-off areas and clear sightlines — and layouts you will not find anywhere else. It suits high-speed training and setup testing particularly well.

Boxberg with ESC

ESC uses Boxberg for exclusive high-speed track days and drift training. In a fully insured Porsche from the ESC fleet you can reach speeds that are barely possible on other circuits. High speed, nothing else.
