The most important difference: During tourist drives, you pay per lap (€30-35) and are on your own. At a trackday Nürburgring, you get coaching, catering, often even a hotel -- and drive as much as you want.

On tourist drives you share the track with many other vehicles at the same time and without coaching. On a Trackday there are fewer cars on track, you get professional support and often additional services like catering or a hotel.
Yes, significantly. The GP track is quick to learn at 5.1 km with 15 corners. The Nordschleife with 20.8 km and 73 corners takes years of practice. For beginners we clearly recommend the GP track.
Your normal car insurance doesn't cover you on the racetrack. With ESC CarForGo cars, hull insurance is included. With your own car we recommend a dedicated Trackday insurance.
Yes. At ESC, with CarForGo we offer a fleet of over 60 Porsches – from the 992 to the GT3 RS. You book the event, we provide the car.

May to September offer the best weather. Spring (May) and autumn (September) are often less crowded than the summer months. For beginners we recommend dry conditions – so probably not in November.
